The Process

I want to keep this process pretty light but at the same time, I believe it's super important to select the right 5 people. It's good for all of us to invest a bit of time in getting this right.

There are two phases to the application process:

First, everyone submits an application that lets them explain in a few words what they do and what they’re working on. I also ask for age and interests outside of work. Ultimately, for these first few trips, I'm focused on finding people around my age and with similar ideas of fun.

Second, I'll meet each person who submitted an application over video call for 15-30 min so that we can both get a better idea of who we are. This is a chance for both of us to see if this is the right fit.

Decisions are released via email within a week of app submission.
